Boarding & Training
Mindful Mutts feels strongly that boarding & training be used in only select circumstances. Boarding and training is $900 per month (4 weeks). Boarding and training will include basic obedience training as well as problem solving for various issues. The monthly price includes two private lessons in which you learn how to work with the dog. I will care for your pet in my home with my dogs for an agreed upon time. You will provide the food and any necessary veterinary care while the dog is under my supervision. Boarding and training is not the first resort for training and will not cure all behavioral problems. Boarding and training works best when the owner takes an active part in teaching their dog. I ask that all owners who are interested in boarding and training give me a schedule for visits with their dog, as the training will go faster and better if the dog has frequent contact with its owners. Boarding and training may also take place on a day to day basis. The charges for this will be $20 per day for training and $20 per day for boarding, a total of $40 per day. The client will choose how many days they want the dog to be trained and the number of days the dog will only be boarding with me. For each training day I will work with the dog on training issues. For boarding days I will not work on obedience issues, I will only provide care for the dog.
